Native to Southeast Asia, Petitgrain is the essential oil distilled from the leaves and green twigs of the Bitter Orange tree. Bitter Orange (cold pressed rind) and Neroli (blossoms) essential oils also come from this same tree. Petitgrain can be found widely used in perfumery and cosmetic recipes.
Aroma: Strong, orange (less floral and more herbaceous), slightly bitter
Uses: Anti-depressant, deodorant, antiseptic, helps relieve insomnia, acne, and dandruff
